The Specific Treatment Method Of Facing The Roof Of The Working Face When Using The U-shaped Steel Arch Support
(1) When the top plate at the front end of the main Steel Arch Support is broken and partially
collapsed, the Steel Arch Support is braked with wood, and then the column is raised to make it tightly
connected to the roof.
(2) The ceiling above the support must be connected to the ceiling to keep the Support Arch effective.
(3) When the coal wall is loose and soft, a good guard board should be used or other effective guard
measures should be taken to prevent the continuous sheeting from causing a large roof fall.
(4) When there is a large area above and in front of the Support Arch, the Mine Roof Support can be
dealt with by hitting the wedge roof.
①Establish 2 to 3 sheds on both sides of the falling roof, the height of the shed should be greater
than the height of the Mine Roof Support, and the first one should be more than 0.5m larger than the
Mine Roof Support.
②The spacing between the sheds is 0.6-1.0m, and the column nests should be dug 0.2-0.3m. It is strong against the mountain, and the back is firm and stable.
③Put the sharpened semi-round log with the plane facing down, and drive it obliquely through the first
beam from the bottom of the second beam, and use the long slender to poke out the coal gangue that is blocked in the front. The pit wood with a diameter of 0.2m is hung on the shed beam with a thick rope to hit the wedge.
