Cold-formed U-shaped Support Arch refers to the one-time forming by professional equipment in a cold state. It is an economical section of light-weight thin-walled steel, known as steel refrigeration-formed high-efficiency and energy-saving profiles.

U-shaped Steel Arch Support can be divided into four types according to the shape: cold-formed equilateral channel steel, cold-formed unequal-sided channel steel, cold-formed inner-curled channel steel, and cold-formed outer-curved channel steel.

U-shaped Steel Arch Support has various ultra-thin, reasonable and complex cross-sections that cannot be produced by hot rolling. Compared with hot-rolled section steel, under the same cross-sectional area, the radius of gyration of U-Mine Roof Support can be increased by 45-60%, and the moment of inertia of the section can be increased by 0.4-3.0 times, so the material strength can be used more reasonably.

Compared with ordinary steel structures (that is, steel structures made of traditional I-beam, channel steel, angle steel and steel plate), about 25-50% of steel can be saved. In some cases, the amount of Steel Arch Support used for the cold-formed U-shaped Mine Roof Support structure is appropriate to that of the reinforced concrete structure under the same conditions, and it is an economical section steel.

The main features of the U-shaped Mine Roof Support bracket are: high pressure, long support time, easy installation and not easy to deform.
