I. Production Processes
Design and Planning
Careful design is carried out according to specific project requirements to determine key parameters such as height, diameter, load bearing capacity, anti-corrosion requirements and installation environment of the bracket.
The design process should follow the ‘Steel Structure Design Code’ and other relevant standards to ensure the structural strength, stability and durability of the bracket.
Material selection and preparation
The main material of Steel Mine Supports is usually Q345B or higher strength steel, because it has good mechanical properties and welding performance.
Strict control is required when selecting materials to ensure that the steel has complete quality inspection reports, and the mechanical properties and chemical composition should meet the design requirements.
Sampling and discharging
Sampling is the first step in the production of Steel Mine Supports, which requires accurate measurement and drawing of the size and shape of each component of the bracket according to the design drawings.
The material is cut by automatic cutting machine to improve efficiency and precision.
Assembly and welding
Assembly is the process of assembling the finished semi-finished parts into a whole bracket according to the design requirements.
Welding is the key link in the production of Tunnel Roof Support, which needs to be carried out by welders with special operation certificates.
The welding process should follow the relevant standards and adopt reasonable welding sequence and parameters to ensure the quality of welded seams.
Surface treatment and anti-corrosion
The surface treatment of the Tunnel Roof Support mainly includes two steps: removing rust and painting.
Rust removal usually adopts the method of removing rust with power tools to remove the rust and oil on the surface of the Tunnel Roof Support.
Paint should be applied on the same day after rust removal to prevent the steel from rusting again.
The painting process includes three procedures: primer, intermediate paint and top coat, and each procedure requires strict control of coating thickness and drying time.
Second, quality control
Quality control of raw materials
Ensure the quality of raw materials is qualified, and carry out necessary processing and treatment.
Manufacturing process quality control
In the manufacturing process, we should operate in strict accordance with the process requirements to ensure the quality of each link.
Maintain and overhaul the manufacturing equipment to ensure its normal operation and accuracy.
Welding seam quality control
Welds should be subject to non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic testing or ray testing, to confirm that the welds are free of cracks, slag entrapment and other defects.
Finished product quality inspection
Inspection and measurement of each critical part and connection point of the Tunnel Roof Support.
Evaluate the appearance quality of the Tunnel Roof Support to ensure that it meets the relevant standards and requirements.
Document management system
Establish a perfect document management system to archive and save the design documents, manufacturing records and quality inspection reports of the stent.
Establish the file management system of the stent, including filing, numbering, archiving and enquiry, etc., to provide support for subsequent maintenance and management.
